Our Roles
Works with Parliament TV to broadcast the House on television.
Provides procedural help to members in the Chamber, and their staff.
Records and publishes members' speeches given in the House and makes them accessible on the web and in print.
Provides procedural, report-writing, and administrative support to select committees.
Provides specialist and high-level procedural and legal advice to the organisations on precinct.
Provides simultaneous interpretation services to the House and select committees, and translation services for Office of the Clerk.
Provides a range of services to the House while its sitting including supporting members and the Speaker in the Chamber.
Coordinates Parliament’s official participation as a member of inter-parliamentary organisations and the contacts between the New Zealand Parliament and parliaments overseas.
Responsible for Parliament's website, social channels, communications, education programmes and the Inter-Parliamentary Relations programme.
